The purpose of Arizona Rural CHW Workforce Development Network is to establish and set the goal to assess needs and address gaps to increase effectiveness of CHWs in care coordination and integration of primary care and behavioral health in rural areas as critical to health care transformation and value-based reimbursement in rural Arizona. Network have been working in identifying needs and gaps that we have as a network. We have worked together to develop a network statement, which we had the input of some network members in developing it. As network we developed the organizational assessment and the external environmental scan. Through this process we were able to identify some areas where we can work to improve as a network. Such as understanding were we see each other in our roles in our network and also learn that some members are in different levels of understanding of their roles and involvement in the network. However, this was a perfect time for us to reflect and share with our network members the feedback we received and plan on how we need to continue strengthening our involvement in the development of our network.
