Survey of Services for Rural Veterans within your Network Membership

NCHN has been exploring potential collaboration and partnership opportunities with the Veterans Health Administration - Office of Rural Health. On Monday, September 16, our Quarterly Informational Call was with Dr. Nancy Mahner, Analyst for VHA-ORHP. Dr. Mahner provided an overview of the ORH and asked for input from those network leaders on the call regarding partnerships and collaborations with rural veterans. If you would like to listen to the recording of the call - please contact Christy.

Our next step is to collect information form networks about services or partnerships you may already be providing or have in place for rural veterans. In partnership with VHA-ORH, NCHN is surveying our membership, along with the current HRSA Rural Health Network Development Grantees. The purpose of the survey is to gather information about what types of interactions and healthcare services networks may have with rural veterans.

As the network leader, please complete the survey at this link.

Also, we need direct input from your network members who may be providing healthcare services to veterans, so we are asking you to please distribute this link to your network members that are healthcare providers and ask them to complete the short survey. Please distribute this link to your provider members.

Thanks in advance for your collaboration!

All responses are confidential and will be reported in aggregate form only. The VHA - ORH is looking for real-time input of what is occurring in rural areas in relation to healthcare services and coordination for rural veterans.
