Announcements from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy
Tom Morris recently sent these announcements from ORHP, including opportunities that he thought would be of particular interest to rural communities and organizations. The first is Healthy Start. There have never been many rural grantees in this program and the way they've redone the guidance there are some new opportunities. HRSA put it out in December but didn't get enough interest so it has been reposted. This is particularly a great opportunity for communities in the Southeast. Also, further down the list, there is news about the webinar from CMS on the budget neutrality requirements with the Frontier Community Health Integration Demonstration so getting that to the eligible states (NV, ND, MT, WY and AK) would really help. Additionally, there is information about the opening of the State Loan Repayment Program.
