Wilderness Medical Staffing is part of Elite365, a healthcare staffing organization supporting specialized workforce solutions nationwide.
Founded in 2010 by Mary Ellen Doty, a nurse practitioner with Montana and Alaska roots, Wilderness Medical Staffing was created to address gaps in access to high-quality care in some of the country’s most remote communities and today connects physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and CRNAs with healthcare facilities facing complex staffing challenges across rural, frontier, Tribal, and underserved regions. With deep experience supporting Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, Tribal Health Organizations, and remote community clinics, WMS helps ensure continuity of care where access is often limited.
Through this partnership, NCHN members will gain access to a staffing partner with firsthand knowledge of rural healthcare delivery, including experience navigating geographic isolation, workforce shortages, and unique community needs. The collaboration is designed to support facilities with temporary and ongoing coverage needs while maintaining high standards of clinical quality and provider fit.
