How do Network Leaders Make Decisions?: We often wonder why strategic opportunities do not result in healthy actions, planning and engagement. It may well be that there are biases in network decision-making. These biases may be partly a function of mental models, schedules, habits, training, and culture. But most often, biases are pervasive because they are a product of human nature—we just aren’t interested in changing, in doing things a different way. This may be a fairly easy discussion to have at an upcoming board meeting and an opportunity to engage in a bit of innovation.
